The farm is in North Central Florida, 20 miles to Gainesville, 60 miles to the Gulf, 80 miles to Atlantic, 110 miles to Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville, with a superb airport in Gainesville some 25 miles from the farm.

The property contains c.48 acres adjacent to a 200-acre private lake with 225' lake frontage, a dock and boat ramp, fishing, boating, swimming, and water skiing.  We own McMeekin Lake Lane with three exits from the farm.

Our home is c.3600 square feet ranch style with brick bottom to top surrounded by a yard fully landscaped with 15 producing citrus trees, pecan trees, and many huge shade trees. There is also a 3-bedroom, 2-bath nicely furnished mobile home for guests or employees.  Out buildings include a building for tack, veterinary work, tool room, garages, and storage. There are two hay buildings with 2000-bale capacity.  We have a six-horse hot-walker, round-pen, loading ramp, and night lights. There are seven training rings, numerous fenced pastures, and year-round horse turnout. The property is fenced and cross-fenced with no-climb horse wire and 5-board fencing. There are also three chainlink dog kennels.

Safe and quite with excellent neighbors such as doctor, dentist, lawyer, builder, and retirees.  Our visitors state that this is like a vacation spot, a dream farm for livestock and people that also has wildlife like deer, foxes, turkeys, whooping cranes, bald eagles, hawks, and many birds.
